Over the years, there have been countless leaks surrounding Grand Theft Auto VI and despite many of them having been removed by Rockstar, some still exist in the dark recesses of the internet and as a result, fans are still uncovering new and exciting features about the upcoming title.
Last week saw Rockstar Games announce that Grand Theft Auto VI was being delayed from fall 2025 to 26 May, 2026.
That was then followed by the sudden dropping of the game's second trailer this week which features loads for us to unpack.

You can view that trailer below.
Although we now finally have a concrete release date and a second trailer, it was still a blow for fans who were hoping to dive into the next Grand Theft Auto instalment later this year.
Nonetheless, the highly anticipated title is still in the works and its unsurprising delay just hints at the care and detail going into it.

Well, the trailer proves that. It's pretty much void of gameplay again, but the in-engine cinematics certainly give plenty of hints as to what we can expect out of the main and side story content.
But to pass the time once more, fans have been returning to old leaks surrounding GTA VI as that's where we've received our best look at gameplay, and that includes Reddit user Veriac.
Posting to r/GTA6, they shared the following: “I rewatched the GTA VI leaks. After watching the leaks again, I really wanted to see something that showcased the physics, driving, and the little details that make Rockstar the best developers in the industry. I finally found some and it excited me enough to wanna just write about it.”
The user compiled a post detailing all of the interesting features they saw after rewatching the leaks with the first centring around the police you will stumble into throughout Vice City.

Veriac claims that the police AI looks very similar to enemy AI found in Red Dead Redemption 2.
“The weapons looked like it hit hard, not the airsoft feeling of GTA V (at least it felt like that to me),” they explained.
“It does give me some hope that it's going to stay that way and RDR2 is the best example of physics we have for NPCs.”
They go on to talk about damage to vehicles, especially when attempting stunt jumps or evading police.

Unlike GTA V where you would hardly sustain any damage unless you really tried, the vehicle damage in GTA VI looks a lot more realistic.
Overall, the user noted that the physics in Grand Theft Auto VI have greatly improved from the ones seen in the previous instalment and considering this was taken from early footage, we can only imagine how much they have improved throughout development.
The physics looked pretty dang impressive in the official second trailer but, as I said, it's more cinematic based than it is gameplay so it awaits to be seen what everything looks like when it's the player at the helm.
