Grand Theft Auto VI fans are once again losing it over a snippet of gameplay footage, proving that literally any morsel of this game will send them into hype-overdrive.
I’m not saying we should rush Rockstar Games in any way, but it has been over four months since we first laid our eyes on the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI.
Obviously they’ll share whatever they can when they’re ready, but this is the GTA fanbase we’re talking about here. Four months may as well be four years to these folks, which is probably why they’re getting excited about a newly edited video for the game.
Honestly, you’d think these guys were Bethesda fans, the way they’re losing it over this. You think four months is bad? Try having seven years to wait, with nothing except a teaser trailer that features absolutely zero gameplay to keep you going.

Anyway, onto the latest obsession over on the r/GTA6 subreddit.
Unfortunately, said gameplay clip comes in the form of a TikTok-style edit of footage we’ve already seen in previous trailers for the game, but hey, at least the folks in the comments seem to be having fun.
“We'll get some more news in November-January to calm us! But yeah, the wait is getting harder and harder even though we're closer,” commented user mueble_31.
“Swamps, big cities, alligators, amusement parks, paragliding, bungee jumping, skydiving, strip clubs, biker gangs, and walks on the beach, the Keys… I need this game now,” replied user No-Roof7432.

“I've booked a week off work for the release. I will be 40 years old when it gets released. I've NEVER been so excited for a game,” commented user GenericNickname461.
Sheesh, these lot really are down bad for this game, huh?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m excited for it too, but these are levels of hype I’ve never witnessed before. No wonder some of you are happy to pay upwards of £100 for this game. You’d probably pay £1,000 if it were necessary.
Thankfully, they probably won’t have to wait too long for some new gameplay footage.

As others have theorised already, we’ll likely hear some more GTA VI news by November, as Take-Two and Rockstar Games will have to release something to keep their investors happy by then.
Hopefully, we get a straight up gameplay trailer next time, because I’m mostly just curious about how much the shooting mechanics have improved since GTA V. Although, whatever it features, I’m sure you lot will be happy.
