GTA 5 player kills every NPC in game, over 800, just to see what happens

GTA V has a lot of NPCs, so it’s pretty damn impressive that this player managed to wipe them all out.

At least wipe out every variant of NPC, as it’s explained by YouTuber Adichu that there are over 800 NPC models in GTA V, giving civilians a unique look that makes them appear to be everyday people.

It’s a testament to the work that went into making GTA V feel alive, so God knows what Rockstar is cooking up for GTA VI

The YouTuber went on a mission to kill every single variant of NPC in the game, a whopping 850 characters basically who all pop up in different parts of the map, as the type of area you're in determines what kind of people you’ll bump into.

The video itself is around 10 minutes long and worth a watch, as it’s like watching a really, really dedicated bounty hunter except they're not getting a reward for their work.

Some variants were seemingly easy to track down like the actual story NPCs, Michael’s family, Trevor’s friends etc, and others are harder since they tend to just blend in with the crowd.

Adichu was seriously dedicated to the cause to do this, I don’t know how he found the time to put this all together.

That’s a staggering number of NPC variants too, 850, even more staggering when you remember the map for GTA VI is going to be several times larger than GTA V.

This means there’ll likely need to be more NPCs to make the world feel lived in, and given how “theme” of the game if you want to call it that is crazy Florida characters it won’t be hard to make them feel like real, unique individuals.

I’m hoping Adichu will return when GTA VI comes out and re-attempt this challenge, it might need to be a bigger video though.
