I’d love to soundtrack this article with the Game of Thrones theme tune but that’s not exactly possible, so I hope you’re humming ‘DUH dun duh duh DUH dun’ in your head.

At least, that’s what it sounds like to me.

We’ll soon be able to journey back over to Westeros - and in more ways than one.

This Sunday will mark the return of House of the Dragon with season two promising an event more deadly than The Red Wedding.

The second series will premiere this coming Sunday, 16 June, having already garnered mixed reviews from critics.

IndieWire referred to the second season as a “bore” while The Standard was far more favourable, deeming it a “blazing return to the world of Game of Thrones”.

We’ll soon be able to make up our own minds - so too will we soon be able to jump into a very exciting new RPG.

Game of Thrones: Legends has been unveiled, a new puzzle RPG that’ll be landing on mobile very soon.

Yes, of course, we’d all love a fully-fledged console RPG but here me out, Legends sounds like a lot of fun.

Take a look at the trailer for Game of Thrones: Legends below.

Game of Thrones: Legends is being developed by Zynga and will launch on the App Store and Google Play next month on 25 July.

Featuring characters from both Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon, Game of Thrones: Legends merges deck-building with puzzle-solving, creating an experience that promises to immerse you in the vast lore of Westeros.

You’ll be able to lead your own noble house, choosing which characters you form an alliance with.

It goes without saying that those choices are going to be pretty important if you want to form an alliance that lets you best your foes.

You’ll be able to put your TV show and book knowledge to good use. If you equip a character with their weapon of choice - such as Arya with Needle - you’ll unlock special abilities, making them even more powerful.

The goal, if it isn’t already obvious, is to claim the Iron throne.

The game promises limited-time events and tournaments including one based off of the infamous Battle of the Bastards.

If you’re interested, you can pre-register for the game and those who do dive in straight away will earn special rewards for completing chapter one within the first week of release.
