Titanfall fans spot detail that's convinced them that Titanfall 3 is on the way

Is Titanfall 3 finally on the horizon?

Titanfall and its sequel carry a lot of love from fans as the mech battler was an action-packed adventure that just didn’t miss.

Fans have been clamouring for a third installment in the franchise for several years and though EA and Respawn Entertainment have remained tight-lipped, it seems fans have spotted a detail that has given them some hope.

Titanfall and its sequel are huge fan favourites and many are desperate for a new game.

Respawn, the development team behind the franchise and the hit battle royale Apex Legends, has put out a job listing on LinkedIn looking for a game design director to join an incubation team working on an unannounced project.

The listing goes on to ask for “significant professional experience designing Multiplayer FPS experiences” in the qualifications section.

Of course, fans are speculating heavily that this unannounced game is Titanfall 3, though many don’t want to get their hopes up too high.

Over on Reddit users are torn. The hope is for a new instalment, but some know better than to hold out hope with one user saying, “There will never be a Titanfall game so long Apex exists, this is probably something new entirely.”

While many of us would love a new Titanfall game, EA has been moving differently over the past year or so, distancing themselves from their older IPs. The Dead Space remake, for example, was a huge hit but the firm doesn’t seem to want to pursue a sequel.

Titanfall has been languishing for some time and while fans want to see this as a positive step, they’re doing so with great caution. Another user on Reddit is doing everything they can to manifest the sequel saying, “Prayer circle for Titanfall 3.

While another comments, “It reads like NEW new, not Titanfall related”, refusing to believe, only to be let down at a later date. You never know though, EA might see potential for a new game that releases alongside the next batch of consoles.
