The initial hype has somewhat subsided following the launch of Prime Video’s Fallout, but there are still plenty of us enjoying the franchise’s catalogue of games.

If you haven’t yet watched Fallout, I implore you to.

For those of you who are already familiar with the franchise, it’s packed with Easter eggs and fun nods to the series’ lore and yet if you’re entirely unfamiliar with Fallout, it’s the perfect introduction to this wacky and wonderful world.

Following the TV show’s premiere, Bethesda announced that they’d welcomed in a surge of 5 million players across all Fallout titles, with the vast majority delving into Fallout 4.

If that includes you, you’re going to want to pay attention to this next tidbit, regardless of whether you’re a new or returning player.

Fallout 4 has a hidden dialogue option that the vast majority of players are overlooking.

We played snog, marry, irradiate with the cast of Fallout. Take a look below.

As I’m sure you’re already aware, in Fallout 4, you can press X or A to skip dialogue lines.

Don’t worry, that’s not the revelation we’re here to talk about.

The revelation is the fact that you can also press O or B to select a ‘rude’ response instead, as pointed out by Reddit user Evanz111.

“I first noticed it when speaking to Father where my MC called him something like a ‘pathetic old man’, but even more surprisingly minor characters like Vadim in the Dugout Inn where she mocked him and said, ‘Nice accent, Boris’ in an Eastern European accent.”

“What? I never knew,” responded one player.

“I’ve got around 900 hours. Never knew this,” added another.

“Try using that feature when your character is under the effect of alcohol. I also just found that out recently and pleasantly surprised it's hilarious,” commented user ryougihan as an added little fun thing for you to try.

Oh how I adore this franchise and its many secrets.
