Fallout fans are somewhat divided regarding an “Anniversary Edition” of Fallout 4, even though it seems that Bethesda has already made the decision for them.
Bethesda loves a re-release. It’s a bit of a meme at this point, but the joke is based in reality.
Oddly, however, even though Skyrim has been repacked somewhere around eight times, Bethesda has been relatively restrained about doing the same for Fallout 4.
We got a Fallout 4 GOTY edition and a VR re-release, but Bethesda could have definitely milked the game more.

Recent leaks imply that’s going to change very soon though, and fans in a thread over on the r/Fallout subreddit are divided about the possibility of a Skyrim-style Anniversary Edition for Fallout 4.
“The cynic in me says wait until closer to season 2 for anything Fallout related info”, commented user Powerful_Mortgage787.
“The show did fantastic for them in general and did wonders to renew interest/sales in the games and merchandise. For season 2 they might "Splash out" a little more to cash in on the good will and revitalization of "All things Fallout".”
“Wouldn't expect so, they only released the next gen update that did that last year”, replied user Verdun3ishop.

Fallout 4 turns ten years old this year on November 10, and the second season of Amazon’s Fallout series is set to drop in December, so it would be the perfect time for an Anniversary Edition of the game to release.
Plus, it has been leaked that Bethesda is planning a huge new update for the game, to coincide with the release of the TV series, so that does add a bit of fuel to the fire.
Personally, I think there’s a very, very high chance that this does happen, but we’ll only have to wait a little bit longer to know for sure.
