Fallout 3 2025 Remaster is a Thing of Absolute Beauty

Honestly, this is how it looks in my head

Fallout 3 is looking better than ever, thanks to the efforts of several different very talented people, and you can get ahold of this fresh take on the 2008 title yourself… right now.

The internet has been rife with rumours and leaks over the past few months regarding Bethesda’s next steps with the Fallout franchise.

Obviously they’re currently hard at work on The Elder Scrolls VI for the time being, but several prominent insiders have stated that Bethesda and Microsoft have a bunch of projects in the work.

Fallout 5 is, understandably, top of the rumour pile, but a Fallout: New Vegas sequel/remaster/remake and new updates for Fallout 4 are apparently all things that the developer is actively pursuing.

Of course, the most popular and most spoken about project is that of a Fallout 3 remaster, which keeps making its way into the news cycle in 2025. Now that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has finally dropped, fans are certain that it won’t be long until Bethesda officially announces some kind of Fallout 3 project.

Well there’s no reason to wait until Bethesda finally drops a remaster, because the fans have been hard at work on producing their own modern, updated version of the game.

As detailed in a video by FloridaHD on YouTube, the Fallout 3 remaster of our dreams already exists… it’ll just require you to download roughly two dozen mods.

The modlist for FloridaHD’s project is available in the video’s description, but there is a small catch if you want to get it to work.

You’ll have to downgrade your current version of Fallout 3 to a previous version to get this to work, as they note that a lot of the best mods for the game that are featured in the video are no longer compatible with recent updates.

Hopefully that official remaster drops sooner rather than later, so we can save ourselves from messing around with stuff like downgrading our update versions.
