Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree is just a month away folks, if you have any last minute plans to replay the game or switch up your build, now’s the time.

FromSoftware has been cooking something good with Shadow Of The Erdtree, proudly showing off their five-star dish in a new story trailer which premiered earlier this week.

You can check out that story trailer for yourself below if you haven’t seen it.

Shadow Of The Erdtree will be Elden Ring’s first and only DLC expansion, which is a hell of a way to say goodbye to a game.

Before its release, leaked details have emerged online revealing exactly how long it’ll take players to finish the new story, and it’s roughly the length of an entire game.

According to Pirat_Nation on Twitter, or X if you prefer that, the latest leaks suggest Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree will take roughly 70 hours if you want to see and do everything it has to offer.

For reference, it takes around 130 hours to 100% the base game, putting the DLC expansion at around half the size.

It’s also said the map will be enormous, “around the size of Caelid, Liurnia, [and] Mountain Top of Giants.”

There will of course be new NPCs, new bosses, more gorgeous scenery and apparently four dungeons to explore in the new open world.

In order to access the DLC, it’s believed players will have to interact with Miquella’s husk in the Mohgwyn Palace area, which means Mohg himself is now a mandatory boss, good thing too as he’s one of the best in the game.

Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree releases next month for Xbox, PlayStation and PC players, so you’ve got just enough time to start a new playthrough, or make any last minute tweaks and changes to your character builds.
