Elden Ring hasn’t even been out for a full year yet, and fans are already out here reworking the whole game, because what else are you supposed to do after playing through the whole thing several times over? Of course, the silly character-replacing mods were already a thing, but this is to go even further beyond - a complete gameplay overhaul.
Take a look at some of Elden Ring's most chaotic mods in action below.
As reported by PCGamesN, Nexus Mods user halcyonproject has created Elden Ring Reborn - a huge mod for the PC version of FromSoftware’s open-world behemoth, which aims to “touch up on every aspect of gameplay and add plenty of new content”. So far, there’s already some huge changes and upgrades to talismans, overhauls to spells, and even some new “lore friendly” starting classes. The map is also now visible during combat, and stat requirements have been removed along with tutorials - so you can now jump into the action much faster.

The project is a work in progress - according to the modder, they’ve currently only reworked around 10% of the game, so there’s a lot more to come yet. There are currently a few errors with the names, images and descriptions of spells, but apparently, that’ll all be fixed soon - they encourage players to make suggestions and report bugs via their Discord server.
So, if you’re ready to experience the game in a new way, this could be a great option - if you’re interested, the mod is totally free to download from Nexus Mods, here.
