Some actual beast of a player has managed to beat Melania in Elden Ring with a character still at level one. What’s even more impressive - though this is worthy of praise already - is that they did it while recovering from a broken arm. That’s like saying they can beat Melania with one hand tied behind their back.

I can barely clear minibosses with my level 30+ character and this guy is out here just ruining Malenia’s day. Straight up disrespecting her legacy. And with a broken arm. The player posted the achievement to Reddit receiving some brilliant replies.

“These challenge runs are getting ridiculous” jokes one Redditor, while another user ups the challenge by saying, “Doesn’t count, now break your other arm and wear a blindfold. Git gud.”

Jokes aside, beating a legendarily difficult fight with a level one character is an astonishing feat. Apparently, the player had fallen off a rock climbing wall breaking their arm and, during recovery, found the time and strength to best Malenia. The player can be seen in the thread saying “The Elden grind doesn’t stop for a broken arm.” Which you just have to respect.

As someone who recently went back to Elden Ring, after it kicked my ass previously, feats like this leave me in awe. The same goes for speedruns, too. Taking a game already known for being brutally difficult and making it look like child’s play is gobsmacking. Part of the greatness of these kinds of games is the clips we get months after release when players begin to increase the challenge. It’s almost become a genre of video content on YouTube.

Who knows what the next challenge might be, but it’s going to be difficult to top this one. Well done to u/BoopNotFound, we hope you heal quickly.
