Diablo IV is proving to be one of the most successful games to be released in 2023, in what is already one stacked year of quality video game goodness.

Just days following its launch, Diablo IV became Blizzard Entertainment’s fastest-selling game ever and even made a cursed $666 million in five days. However, Diablo IV hasn't been without its controversy. For example, a player had lost a level 100 character due to server issues and another player lost 173 hours of progress due to a bug.

Unfortunately, it got worse in the weeks that followed for Diablo IV and its community, thanks to a patch that angered the masses. Amongst the many issues that followed a ‘content update’ for its first season dubbed ‘Season of the Malignant’ were complaints that character progression was made more grindy, forcing some players to walk away from the game.

Blizzard Entertainment did release a follow-up patch that removed most of the bad decisions made with the previous update, but for some, the damage was already done. However, to tackle the excessive grind that may still persist in Diablo IV, players have found a fantastic exploit that can jump you up 40 levels in no time at all. This exploit most certainly gives me “Loot Cave” vibes from the original Destiny by Bungie.

As reported by PC Gamer, a YouTuber named ‘Raxxanterax’ shared details of the exploit in Diablo IV following the recent patch. If players were to visit the ‘Domhainne Tunnels dungeon found in the Scosglen region, you should be able to jump 40 levels in just two hours!

So how do you level up so fast in this magical location, I hear you ask? Well, that’s simple. Just spare roughly two hours of your time and slay every creature that crosses your path in the tunnel. So get hydrated, and slay to your heart's content to level up and acquire precious loot!

It’s worth keeping in mind that you can only really level up by 40 if you begin at least close to level one. That being said, regardless of your current level, this is a fantastic and easy way to earn loads of XP and loot.

Of course, it’s only a matter of time, much like Bungie with the OG Destiny, until Blizzard Entertainment becomes killjoys once more and nerfs the hell out of this particular exploit. So if you want to take advantage of it now, you better act fast.

Diablo IV is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
