If there is one thing that we learned after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, it was that the world was ready for all things cyberpunk.

From an anime adaption with Cyberpunk Edgerunners to multiple titles inspired by the futuristic setting, Cyberpunk 2077 has gone on to become something of a phenomenon with fans eager to experience more of the beautiful yet corrupt world.

However, it is perhaps unsurprising considering Cyberpunk 2077 itself was inspired by Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk tabletop game series. As a result, the ongoing series has enough reference material and lore to dive into and that’s exactly what one fan has discovered.

Posted to r/cyberpunkgame, one fan showed off their copy of Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team, a graphic novel published by Dark Horse which follows the story of Nadia, an assistant EMT for Trauma Team, the medics we see in Night City.

However, as the sole survivor of a failed rescue attempt, Nadia is tasked with an upcoming extraction mission.

“Nadia discovers that her new extraction subject is Apex - the man who's responsible for Nadia's former team members' deaths,” the official synopsis reads. “A hundred floors high in a skyscraper filled with members of Apex's rival gang, Nadia and her team must complete the extraction.”

The post to r/cyberpunkgame soon got people talking about how much they have explored the lore of Night City outside of Cyberpunk 2077.

One person said: “I get all the Dark Horse comics of Cyberpunk. I've also listened to the audiobook of No Coincidence. I bought the Cyberpunk RED TTRPG book but haven't run a game with it yet.”

It seems Cyberpunk 2077 is still as popular now as it was back in 2020 so it just remains to be seen what is next for the futuristic RPG.
