Cyberpunk 2077 gamers are delighted that the game is still getting recognition in 2025, with more to come in 2026.
CD Projekt Red’s open-world dystopian future title is getting a crossover expansion with the online MMO Wuthering Waves this year, and received another collaboration with Guilty Gear: Strive a couple of months ago.
The Wuthering Waves expansion’s details haven’t been shared just yet but the Guilty Gear: Strive DLC added Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners as a playable character, so the Wuthering Waves DLC will likely be a similar story.
As if Cyberpunk 2077 fans weren’t being treated enough, a third collaboration has been announced, this time with the mobile first-person shooter Arena Breakout.

Titled “Living Legend’ this collaboration will reportedly include “collab skins and exclusive events” available in Kamona. Living Legend is likely a reference to our Cyberpunk 2077 characters wanting to be a legend in Night City, like Johnny Silverhand and your companion Jackie.
While you wouldn’t expect much excitement for a mobile game it seems Cyberpunk 2077 has drawn quite a crowd, as one fan described the upcoming expansion as “pure fire.”
Others suggested potential skins that could find their way into the game, with the most popular obviously being Johnny Silverhand.
The Arena Breakout and Cyberpunk 2077 collaboration will drop on 16 October, only around a week away.

In other news official game support for Cyberpunk 2077 has officially ended, aside from the occasional quality-of-life update but even they have slowed down now.
For your next trip to Night City or perhaps somewhere outside the city border you’ll have to wait for the sequel, which is currently in the pipeline at CD Projekt Red for when it finally releases The Witcher IV. Unfortunately there’s no release date for the next Witcher game so don’t expect another Cyberpunk game for at least a decade, provided the studio takes its time.
Worry not though as there is more Cyberpunk 2077 content on the way. After a large outcry from viewers Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will be returning for a sequel series, but not following the events of the first. It’ll tell a new story with a new cast of characters, which is still something to look forward to.
So there’s quite a few Cyberpunk-related treats here and there for fans, though some are obviously more exciting than others.
