We’re almost one month on from the announcement of Counter-Strike 2. Don't worry, I’m not going to get into the confusing naming conventions of the franchise. Let’s just accept it as Counter-Strike 2 and move on.

Set to release as a free upgrade for CS:GO players this summer, some fans are already experiencing Counter-Strike 2’s beta period. Described as “the largest technical leap forward in Counter-Strike’s history,” the devs over at Valve have promised “new features and updates for years to come”. Consider my interest piqued. Unfortunately, Counter-Strike 2 won’t be coming to consoles so this is just one for PC players to enjoy. In the meantime, fans of the franchise are still enjoying the original CS:GO and one player recently performed an incredible trick shot.

Take a look at the trailer for Counter-Strike 2 below.

As reported by GG Recon, one player has hit a mind-blowing once-in-a-lifetime shot which killed five people with just one bullet. How? I hear ye ask. Well, it just so happened that five fellow players were, unintentionally, standing perfectly in line with one another. When the player in question fired the shot, it quickly took out all five. It was only when the five eliminations appeared on the screen that the guy realised what he’d just achieved, leading to a very excited outburst of ‘Holy s**t’. It has to be seen to be believed. Take a look below.

The player is known online as Sp1cay. What adds to the grandeur of this shot is that the final victim was actually killed by a headshot. That may have been accidental but damn, this guy is never going to forget this gaming session, is he?

Needless to say, fellow CS:GO fans were extremely impressed. Twitter user PowerbangGaming wrote, “What in the world? I’ve aced that exact spot a handful of times, but ONE SHOT???!! Lmao that’s unreal. God tier clip,” while piques15 joked, “Legend has it that the bullet is still travelling.”
