Assassin’s Creed Shadows is getting a lot of free content, and fans of the Ubisoft series are happy, to say the least.
Before its release, there was much concern about Assassin’s Creed Shadows despite the title finally being set in Feudal Japan, a period that fans have wanted for years.
Fans were concerned because Assassin’s Creed Shadows was delayed a few times, which does not usually bode well. However, come release, I think it’s fair to say that the next entry in the Ubisoft series has exceeded many expectations.

In our review, we said: “Assassin’s Creed Shadows isn’t just one of the best games of the year so far, it’s the new yardstick by which all future Assassin’s Creed games should be measured. This is an epic, sweeping adventure bolstered by jaw-dropping visuals and a masterful blend of stealth, action, and exploration. You don’t want to miss this one.”
Yesterday, Ubisoft revealed the roadmap for its upcoming content for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, including its expansion, Claws of Awaji, which is free to all those who had pre-ordered the game.

The additional free content includes new story missions that add extra lore to some of its NPC characters, parkour gameplay improvements, photo mode enhancements, quality-of-life refinements and much more.
As you can imagine, many fans of the Assassin’s Creed series are over the moon with all the free content coming to the game soon.
“I know it's kinda en vogue to poop on Ubisoft. But it feels it is doing a lot of things very right with Shadows,” said Redditor tadayou.

“PARKOUR UPDATES WOOOOOOOO,” yelled yaminub, in excitement.
“I'm frankly more excited for the parkour update,” replied Leo-pryor-6996. “All the flips and twirls you do in base game are great and all, but the return of back ejects and side ejects sounds like a return to what we loved about the older titles, and that's hype to me.”
“Hell yeah, sounds promising,” said El_Couz.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
