Assassin's Creed Origins direct sequel is the dream, fans agree

Who deserves a sequel?

If there’s one thing we gamers love to do, it’s hope. We hope that games will be brilliant, we hope that our team snags a victory royale, we hope that our favourite games get a sequel. Even when we know it’s a false hope, that doesn’t stop us.

So, when a question is posed like, “Which Assassin’s Creed games deserve a part two?” It gives us a chance to revel in our favourites, talk about what made them brilliant, and hold out a last spark of hope that we may, at some point, see more of these games in the future.

Assassin's Creed Origins remains a fan favourite from the long-running franchise.

This question was asked of Reddit and the replies are as varied as you would imagine. The suggestion taking the lead is Assassin’s Creed Origins starring Bayek as the protagonist. The original poster of the thread even says it would be a good fit so “we can start seeing more of the building of the Creed, and slowly see Bayek uses less brute force and more stealth.”

While other Redditors agreed, they also put forth their own choices: “Mirage please, I love Basim and his story ends with him not even 20 years old,” says one user. Age seems to be a theme with another reply adding that Connor deserves another shot: “When AC3 ended, he was only 26. I need a second game with a more experienced Connor in his prime.”

Connor pops up again with this comment: “I would like Connor to get a part two considering he lost a fourth of his game to his dad.” Connor and Bayek stay as the main favourites among the community, though a couple of people would also enjoy seeing Kassandra have a sequel of her own. It’s unlikely any of these come to fruition, but it’ll never stop us hoping.
