YouTuber Videogamedunkey has announced that he’s expecting his first child with wife and fellow YouTuber Leahbee.
As reported by Dexerto, Videogamedunkey - real name Jason Gastrow - announced the news during his ‘Revisiting Uncharted 4’ video, posted on 5 July 2023. Towards the end of the video, Dunkey was talking through the epilogue of the game during which we meet Nate’s daughter Cassie. He said, “This is the most fulfilling ending I have ever experienced in a video game, and it’s one that takes on a whole new context for me now that me and Leah are having our own daughter because this was actually a baby video the whole time. We’re having a baby everybody.”
Leah then took to Twitter to confirm the news. She wrote, “Happiest news. Our baby girl [is] due in October,” adding a picture of her ultrasound. Needless to say, fans are thrilled for the couple. Over on Dunkey’s YouTube video, one viewer wrote, “Congratulations Dunkey. Truly amazing for you to be bringing life into this world,” while another added, “Congrats Dunkey! I’m proud that you finally looked past all of the treasure hunting and learned that family is the greatest treasure of all. Sully would be proud.”

Videogamedunkey rose to fame after he began posting skits and video game related essays, full of wit and humour. He tied the knot with Leah on 27 September, 2019. To date, Dunkey boasts 7.39 million subscribers, while Leah has 272,000.
Following on from the reveal, Leah added, “[Thank you] for all the congrats. Hard to find words to convey it properly, but starting a family with Jason who I find to be my soulmate plus a singularly remarkable person is the coolest to me.” We send our hearty congratulations to the couple.
