Despite being out for just one day, the latest action RPG on the scene has already been met with a series of review bombs with miserable gamers claiming it is “woke”.
Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn was released earlier this week from game studio A44 Games.

“The Door to the Great Below has been opened unleashing the Gods and their armies of the Dead”, the official synopsis reads.
“The lands of Kian are besieged, the city of Dawn is on the brink of destruction. It’s time for the Coalition army to fight back.
Embrace vengeance, gunpowder and magic as you embark on an epic journey to defeat the Gods, close the door and retake the world.”
However, according to one Reddit user over on r/xbox, Flintlock has already seen itself the victim of review bombing with negative reviews claiming it is “woke garbage”.

“I’m enjoying this game but man, are Xbox fans hard to please. Games already getting review bombed with things like “Woke Garbage! Not playing”. The game isn’t anything game changing nor did it promise to be so I don’t see what the big deal is,” they wrote.
Why is it “woke” you may ask yourself? According to these troubled gamers, Flintlock is woke because it features a Black main character. Yep, that’s it.
As a result, despite probably never having even played a minute of the game, they have taken to the Xbox storefront to share their frustrations.
For those not put off by such stupid things, Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC and is worth experiencing for yourself.
