Feeling in need of something spooky? A terrifying title? Perhaps a petrifying PC game? Or even a hair-raising new release? You get the point - it’s indie horror time, and this one isn’t for the faint of heart. That includes me, so I’m going to say making it to the end of this article will be a victory.

Meet MADiSON, which is soon to be the stuff of your nightmares. As reported by DSOGaming, this first-person psychological horror title is inspired by P.T. (the demo for Konami’s cancelled game, Silent Hills), and is being developed and published by BLOODIOUS GAMES. It’s coming to Steam next month, and it just got a new trailer, which is sure to send a shiver down your spine.

Check out the latest trailer for MADiSON right here.

“What would you do if you woke up locked in a dark room, with your hands covered in blood?” the game’s official synopsis reads on Steam. “Play as Luca, and endure the brute torture of MADiSON, a demon that has forced him to continue a gory ritual started decades ago, making him commit abominable acts. Will you be able to finish this sinister ceremony?”

Throughout the game, you’ll utilise an instant camera to survive, and “connect the human world with the beyond”. As you explore, you’ll also have to solve puzzles, and preferably not get attacked by the creepy demon chasing you down, because that’s not generally ideal, is it?

The game releases on 8 July on PC, so there’s not long at all to wait now, but if you really can’t wait to get stuck into this one, a free demo is available right now - you can download it from the game’s itch.io page right here. I’ll, uh, not be checking this one out myself, but be sure to give it a go if you’re interested.
