Sony has shared the first full trailer for the upcoming Uncharted movie starring Tom Holland as Nathan Drake. A brief snippet of the teaser was leaked late last night, but this is out first official look at the long-gestating adaptation in action.

The trailer shows the first meeting between a young Nathan Drake and his mentor to be, Victor 'Sully' Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg). Naturally, it's not long before the two embark on an adventure of their own - a race against a rival treasure hunter to find sweet loot and untold riches.

Fans of the games will be delighted to see a handful of visual and audio nods to the game too, from the iconic main theme to an exciting sequence ripped straight from Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception in which our hero is thrown from a cargo plane.
It only took ten years and seven directors, but Uncharted will arrive in cinemas February 18, 2022. Now we just have to hope it's actually good. Judging by this first trailer, I'm prepared to believe it's gonna be an incredibly dumb few hours packed with inoffensive, mindless fun. Just what I want from an Uncharted movie, to be honest.
