A new angsty story is calling to us...

The trials, tribulations, and heartbreaking stories of the Life is Strange franchise is what keeps people hooked after all these years.

But sometimes, we need fresh tales to lose ourselves in.

Fortunately, a free Xbox and PlayStation download available right now is the perfect fit for Life is Strange fans looking to branch out but still retain that angst-heavy experience.

Harmony: The Fall of Reverie follows a story where “the fate of humanity is at stake”. Players will need to use “clairvoyance to see into the future and stop an apocalypse that threatens the balance between your world and the deities”.

Sounds very intriguing.

This DON’T NOD title was released in 2023, however, it seems to have flown under the radar since its launch despite its mostly positive reviews.

If you’re only just learning of this game, it’s okay – you have plenty of time to make up for missing the memo that this is a must-play title.

Best of all, you can download its demo for free via the Xbox and PlayStation Store, as well as on Steam, and Switch. See? All bases are covered to make sure you don’t miss out.

Fellow fans of Life is Strange, and similar titles, are raving about Harmony: The Fall of Reverie.

“Harmony is a very good game, let's get this out of the way,” begins one review. “It has a VERY strong focus on choices. Choices are used as the main gameplay element, and I think it's fair to say that this makes Harmony a visual novel first and foremost.”

Someone else said, “The game is beautiful and heartbreaking.”

Seeing as we’re already crying to The Tortured Poets Department, we may as well become invested in fictional characters destined to break our hearts.

There’s no time limit on the free demo, so be sure to check it on your preferred platform whatever you get a chance.
