Star Wars fans who want more of The Acolyte have been treated to a new teaser to get them hyped.

Set during the High Republic era, roughly 130 years before the events of Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, there was hope that the new Disney Plus series taking us to a galaxy, far, far away would be a huge success.

Sadly, for those who were enjoying The Acolyte, it was abruptly cancelled after its only season. Despite pleas from some fans, there appears to be no indication that the series will be revived on Disney Plus.

However, there is some hope at least, if you’re desperate for new The Acolyte content, in the form of an upcoming eBook called Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Crystal Crown.

“An exciting adventure starring fan-favourite Jedi Padawans Jecki and Yord from the Disney Plus live-action series, Star Wars: The Acolyte,” reads the synopsis of the digital novel.

“While their Jedi Masters clean up a political mess left behind by one of their own, Jedi Padawan Jecki and her least favourite fellow Padawan Yord are drawn into a planet-wide coming-of-age ritual as featured guests.

“But when things unexpectedly turn deadly, Jecki and Yord will have to use all of their abilities and work together to keep each other—and their new friends—safe.”

After reading the preview for Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Crystal Crown, fans are looking forward to the story it will tell.

“I'm definitely pre-ordering this book now. The preview was great - perfectionist Jecki vs. perfectionist Yord is so fun, and I'm happy to see Master Sol again,” replied Reddit user tenyouusness.

“I was really fond of Jecki in the show, so I’m glad she’s getting some additional attention,” said fatesandia.

“Such a shame, LucasFilm decided to nuke everything instead of making adjustments for a second season,” exclaimed BShep_OLDBSN.

“Despite all its missteps, I really wanted to see the Sith unfold in this show ...it breaks my heart,” replied Ctowndrama.

Star Wars: The Acolyte: The Crystal Crown will be available from 29 July 2025 wherever you buy your digital novels.
