Star Wars: The Acolyte fans have a new release to enjoy, and it might be worth it for those who prefer to sit back and relax.
Okay, so The Acolyte wasn’t perfect, but at least it wasn’t just another bog-standard Star Wars story. It felt like there was quite a bit of depth to it, something that would have been great to see in a second season.
We may never get a proper TV continuation of the series, but at least Lucasfilm has been able to give the franchise spin-off media for the fans to enjoy.
Star Wars: The Acolyte – The Crystal Crown is one such release. It’s a book centred around the Jedi Padawans Jecki and Yord from the TV series.

The book was released in July earlier this year, with fans calling it a 'win for both Star Wars books and fans of The Acolyte'. And now we've got a new release relating to the book for you to keep the Acolyte alive for a little bit longer despite the Disney+ cancellation.

“An exciting adventure starring fan-favorite Jedi Padawans Jecki and Yord from the Disney+ live-action series, Star Wars: The Acolyte,” reads the official blurb for Star Wars: The Acolyte – The Crystal Crown.
“While their Jedi Masters clean up a political mess left behind by one of their own, Jedi Padawan Jecki and her least favorite fellow Padawan Yord are drawn into a planet-wide coming-of-age ritual as featured guests. But when things unexpectedly turn deadly, Jecki and Yord will have to use all of their abilities and work together to keep each other—and their new friends—safe.
