Star Wars fans are loving this new official release from The Acolyte, nearly a year after its cancellation.
Okay, so it wasn’t perfect, but Star Wars: The Acolyte was one of the most interesting shows on Disney Plus when it was first released last year.
Seeing a Star Wars story set earlier than all the other films and TV shows was a breath of fresh air, and it felt like the narrative was heading into uncharted territory.
Despite the series’ cancellation, its legacy lives on as Hasbro has released a new piece of merchandise based on The Stranger’s helmet.

Appropriately titled “Star Wars The Black Series The Stranger Electronic Helmet”, the product is a 1:1 replica of the helmet worn by Qimir in The Acolyte.
Hasbro has made sure that the helmet is adjustable for different head sizes, and that it remains comfortable and robust so it doesn’t break easily. It sounds pretty perfect for cosplayers and collectors who wish to take their love for the show to conventions.
One fan who managed to get the helmet early has shared some images over on The Acolyte’s Reddit page, including the comparison with a custom one they made earlier.

Although they stated they received it early, the helmet should be shipping out now and will be available to more people from this week.
With the red lightsaber and dark lighting, it’s a pretty cool looking thing. And it seems like a must-have for fans of the show who want to put it on display, or cosplay as The Stranger for conventions.
The Stranger Electronic Helmet is available from Hasbro for £104.99, but you might also be able to find it at other similar retailers.
The product page states that one AAA battery is also required and not included, presumably for the electronic features of the helmet.
