We just got sent 20 years into the past to a location we haven’t seen since the 2005 release of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, and it looks just as beautiful as the day it left us.
Heads up: I’m going to try and be as vague as possible, but this article does contain some light spoilers for episode 10, season 2 of the Disney+ series Andor.
If you’ve yet to catch up and you haven’t watched the final three episodes that just dropped, I highly suggest you turn back now!

Alright, with that out of the way, holy crap was that Naboo?!
For a brief segment in the Andor episode 'Make It Stop', we got a little glimpse of our rebel heroes just… chilling on Naboo.
Andor is one of the best Star Wars projects out there.
It might not seem like a huge deal to those of you that aren’t Star Wars obsessed, but Naboo was an extremely pivotal location through the entirety of the prequel trilogy.

The last time we actually saw Naboo in live action was in the closing few minutes of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, during Padme’s funeral. It’s been referenced plenty of times since, but we’ve never actually seen it.
But why were our Rebel heroes on Naboo of all places? Especially when it wasn’t actually referenced directly in any way during their time there. Well, the folks over on the r/andor subreddit have a pretty good theory.
“I'm not well-versed enough in timelines to know what or why they'd be blowing up something on Naboo - any ideas?” commented user Too_Exacting.
“As a hypothesis, the Emperor’s home planet is Naboo”, replied user JadeEyePanda.

“It’s about sending a message.”
Hell yeah brother, I’ll drink to that. Show that pasty faced, cloak wearing dork what’s up.
It’s a shame this is probably the last we’ll see of Andor in any capacity but, damn, what a way to go out. Is it already too soon for a rewatch?
