The Acolyte might have only been around for a brief moment, but it did have a lasting impact on the wider Star Wars canon. As well as delivering some interesting parts of the wider story and the background of the Force, it also had some genuinely memorable characters that could reappear elsewhere moving forward.

One of those is The Stranger, a fallen figure whose journey from the light to the dark side of the Force is layered in considerable mystery and takes into it's breadth some of the more notable figures in the franchise.

After being thrown out of or leaving the Jedi Order for unknown reasons, The Stranger fell to the dark side, becoming the apprentice of Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Plagueis, who himself is one of the most powerful Force users known.

His story, by the time The Acolyte starts, is just as interesting and his journey as both The Stranger and Qimir is one of the best narrative threads the series has to offer. Whilst the oft-requested spinoff isn't currently set to be a thing, there is a release on the way in the meantime that should resonate with fans of The Stranger.

As confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con, toy manufacturing giant Hasbro is releasing a new figure - the Black Series Qimir. The toy is fully posable and comes with several lightsaber attachments, while the face is also accurate and well done.

The highly detailed rendition of the character is set to hit shelves in the Autumn, though an exact release date is yet to be confirmed by the company. There's no further news on whether any other characters from the show are set to appear in toy form, though the fate of the show and its abrupt cancellation make a broad range of figures unlikely.
