All hail the greatest Day Walker who ever lived

We thought it couldn’t get any better than seeing Walton Goggins as The Ghoul, but we were wrong. Now it seems Wesley Snipes might be returning as Blade.

Sorry, but we’re going to need a moment.

For those who don’t remember Wesley Snipes as the greatest Day Walker who ever defied the odds, and all while being effortlessly badass, let me tell you you’re in for a treat if this news is true.

What a time to be a Marvel fan – first the new game from the Dishonoured developers was announced, and now Snipes is coming back to us.

It isn’t just us quietly losing our minds over this news, other fans are too.

“The man is coming home to the MCU,” posted one Twitter user.

Another said, “You'll never convince me anyone other than Wesley Snipes is Blade.” It’s a sentiment we can get behind.

But how will Snipes return?

Marvel is spoiling us; check out the Marvel's Blade announcement trailer below

According to the rumours, Snipes could appear in The Multiverse Saga, similar to how Toby Maguire and Peter Garfield were able to wear the Spider-Man suit once more. All hail the multiverse, am I right?

Here’s the thing, my friends, there’s been no official confirmation of this yet. Consequently, it could merely be wishful thinking, which would be gut-wrenching.

As one fan put it, “One more movie that's all I want...”

Thankfully, we have other new Marvel content to keep us occupied while we try to figure out if this latest rumour is true.

The new Deadpool & Wolverine trailer is here, and dear lord, it’s wild.

We can spend our time searching for all the Easter eggs we missed, while crossing all our limbs that Wesley Snipes is going to mess some vampires up once more.
