Stranger Things star Joe Kerry is reportedly being lined up to play a role in the MCU.
Now that Stranger Things has come to an end with its fifth and final season on Netflix in the New Year, fans are wondering what’s next for its popular cast of actors
Some of the Stranger Things cast have already made names for themselves outside of the Netflix series, such as Millie Bobby Brown starring in the Elona Holmes movies (no matter what you think of them), as well as landing roles in Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. King Kong.
Finn Wolfhard has starred in 2017’s It, as well as Ghostbusters: Afterlife and Ghostbusters: Frozen Kingdom. Sadie Sink is also set to play a major character in the MCU’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

That's not even to mention the incredibly talented rest of the cast (special shout out to Maya Hawke, who was my personally stand out performance in Stranger Things Season 5)
However, one Stranger Things cast member who already looks to land a big Hollywood movie role is the aforementioned Joe Keery, who played the beloved Steve Harrington.
As brought to our attention by the Twitter account ScreenTime, entertainment industry insider DanielRPK has reported that Joe Keery is on the radar of Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige and may have already had discussions about a role in the MCU.
Who Could Joe Keery Play in the MCU?

At this time, these are unconfirmed reports, so they should be taken with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise. We also have no idea what role he might land, but MCU fans on Twitter have been speculating the likes of Ghost Rider, Cyclops, Harry Osborn or Nova.
“Okay, hear me out,” said TenaciousBit, replying to the ScreenTime tweet, sharing an AI-generated image of Joe Keery as Nova. Followed up with another image of X-Men’s Gambit.
“Maybe Harry Osborn?” suggested RisBrian.
“Young Wolverine, I see it,” declared CrazyTeddy.

“I suppose stranger things have happened,” joked AniamAkash.
There is speculation that if Joe Keery joins the MCU, he could be introduced in the new X-Men reboot. If that proves to be true, Cyclops and Ghost Rider could be distinct possibilities. That being said, I think he’d make an excellent Harry Osborn.
Again, this should all be taken with a pinch of salt, but hopefully, all might be confirmed in the next year or two. We’ll keep you posted!
