Marvel fans are divided over who should be in the MCU version of the Young Avengers, but it’s fair to say that not everyone agrees.
There’s no doubt in my mind that the peak of the MCU was during Phases One to Three with the Infinity Saga, offering epic movies such as The Avengers, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Avengers: Infinity War.
It was a glorious time to be a Marvel fan, seeing our favourite heroes and villains on the big screen, which culminated with the highly anticipated battle with Thanos in Avengers: Endgame.
We’re now on the verge of Phase Six of the MCU with the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps, continuing the Multiverse Saga, looking to conclude with Avengers: Secret Wars on 27 December 2027.

During Phase Six, we will likely see the new Avengers take shape, with the possibility of veteran members Thor, Hulk, and Captain America (Sam Wilson), to name a few, leading the charge.
That being said, MCU Phase 6 will also be a great time to establish young Avengers members whom we have already met, whether it’s on the silver screen or in a Disney Plus series.
There’s a good chance that a Young Avengers team might include members such as Kamala Khan (Ms. Marvel), Tommy Maximoff (Speed) and Billy Maximoff (Wiccan), Skaar (Hulk’s son) and more.
I’ll also be hoping that we’ll eventually see the likes of Elijah Bradley (grandson of Isaiah Bradley) as Patriot, T’Challa’s son, Toussaint as a new Black Panther and with a bit of luck, Miles Morales.

With that in mind, Marvel fans on Reddit have also been discussing who they’d like to see if the Young Avengers form in the MCU, providing.
“I honestly wouldn't care in the slightest if they made a Young Avengers movie. MCU should focus more on Fantastic Four and the new X Men,” said pearlz176.
“I don’t even want a 'Young Avengers' anymore. If you want a ‘next generation’ sequence, just group them in the next big movie,” suggested Flintlock.
“I wish there was a way to include X-23,” replied KylosApprentice.

“My idea is to not even have a Young Avengers, but instead make a Defenders movie,” said Fun-Seaworthiness572.
Only time will tell whether or not we’ll get a Young Avengers team in the MCU. I think they’ll get integrated into one team with the veterans, and at best, they might get a Disney Plus mini-series.
As for what we know for sure, The Fantastic Four: First Steps arrives in cinemas on 25 July 2025.
