Marvel fans aren’t in full agreement that She-Hulk needs recasting, despite the poor reception to the Disney Plus show.
Love it or hate it, the She-Hulk TV show that debuted on Disney Plus was a good attempt at bringing a new style of show to the MCU.
It was littered with comedic moments and plenty of breaking the fourth wall, and while it didn’t arrive to stellar reviews, fans thought Tatiana Maslany did a great job in the role.
So, when one Redditor took to the message board to suggest that Maslany be recast, Marvel fans were quick to defend the actress and shut down the idea.

“As a long-time Shulkie fan, I liked the show, thought Tatiana Maslany was excellent as Jen,” said IamMothManAMA.
In reply, AJjalol comments, “Tatiana as Shulkie was perfect.”
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law wasn’t a bad show, but it caught a lot of flak for its poor CGI across many areas in a show so heavily doused in computer graphics.
The actual performances were great, and even the wacky story twists were entertaining.

It seems most of the subreddit agrees that Maslany was the least of the show’s issues.
“I thought it was excellent casting, and if we see her again, I hope it's Maslany in the role,” noted FoldedaMillionTimes.
While others simply said, “I thought the show was great,” or commented “The show was great! I genuinely don't understand why people don't like it.”
Another Redditor jumps to the defence of Maslany, saying, “Why would they recast? Tatiana is a critically acclaimed actress.”

There’s surely more to come from the character in the future, perhaps even in Avengers: DOOMSDAY, if rumours are to be believed, and recasting the role seems like it would touch a nerve with fans.
With only this outing under her belt, I’m sure Maslany would love a shot at developing She-Hulk further.
