Iron Man may have met his demise in 2019’s Avengers: Endgame but it seems as though our favourite suit of titanium is back.
Just not in the way that many Marvel fans would have hoped.
Check out our first official look at Ironheart in action below!
That is because the suit now belongs to Ironheart, otherwise known as Riri Williams, in an upcoming Disney+ show with the same name.

Set to air on 24 June, the miniseries will follow Riri Williams/Ironheart (played by Dominique Thorne) following the events of the last time we saw her in Wakanda Forever.
Consisting of six episodes, Ironheart will mark the last television series and conclusion of Marvel’s Phase Five.
The story focuses on Riri, who after becoming entangled with Parker Robbins/The Hood, soon uncovers secrets that pit technology against magic. Using her genius, she must prove she has what it takes to build her very own suit and make her place in the world.
Yesterday saw Marvel Television release the first trailer for Ironheart as well as its release date and it seems as though although the show is produced by Black Panther, and more recently Sinners, director Ryan Coogler, not everyone is feeling the hype.

Posted to the ScreenTime Twitter account, MCU fans soon took to the comments to share their thoughts and it is safe to say that it was a mixed bag with some having genuine concerns whilst others just wanted to be disgusting bigots.
“Should have been a movie, the TV CGI is always a let down,” one user suggested.
Another user added, “What I’ll never understand is Marvel has an array of B-level characters that have either gone untouched or barely got an Easter egg. So why make a show or movie about an F-list character no one’s heard of, who’s only been around for less than a decade? Who is this even for? I don’t get it.”
However, SoulSilverArt was intrigued by a new character.

“Oh the Red Hood? Kinda intrigued,” they shared.
As mentioned, Ironheart airs on Disney+ next month so you will be able to make your minds up for yourself as well as officially say goodbye to the MCU's Phase Five.
