MCU fans just realising Kang's story was 'resolved' without us even noticing

He was done dirty

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has gone in a very different direction due to Jonathan Majors getting axed from future films.

It’s a slight shame because Kang The Conqueror had a lot of potential to be a great MCU villain, and while his mighty powers weren’t shown off very well in the few films he appeared in, his mastery over time could have led to some interesting plot developments.

Now it’s Doctor Doom’s time to shine, played by Robert Downey Jr, but fans still think Kang deserved a better send-off, and hope there’s still time to give him one.

Some believe Kang’s story has already been wrapped up though, and his last appearance in Loki Season 2 really was his last appearance in the entire MCU.

“Didn't they resolve it at the end of Loki S2 with B-15 and Mobius talking about how the TVA had shifted to working only on timelines with Kang variants present to ensure none of them were able to kickstart a war?” read a comment found in a Reddit thread discussing the topic.

“Right. At the end of the Loki D+series, they kinda wrap it up by just saying it is handled. Too bad though. I was looking forward to Kang,” read another.

Others speculate they’ll wrap things up further with “Doom killing Kang variants as the opening of Doomsday, but they conveniently don't show Kang’s face”, which honestly sounds plausible as it’d explain why Doom has so much power over the multiverse.

Chances are we won’t even get that though; Doom will just be powered up right out of the gate and any mention of Kang will probably be something along the lines of, “Yeah I killed that guy,” and nothing more.

It’s a shame, Kang as a character deserved better but seems like it just wasn’t his time.
