Marvel fans are eating well this year with Thunderbolts*, sneak-peeks at Avengers: Doomsday and, of course, The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

The first and second trailers for Fantastic Four: First Steps were mind-blowing, looking like a fresh, unique addition to the MCU that we can’t wait to see this July.

Check out the trailer for Marvel’s first family’s next big adventure below.

While the Fantastic Four themselves and the Silver Surfer have had a major glow-up, they’re not alone as the film’s cosmic villain Galactus is also finally getting a comic accurate design fans are in love with.

Played by Ralph Ineson, the world eater will cause chaos for the Fantastic Four’s planet for the second time on the big-screen.

The first was in Fantastic Four: Rise Of The Silver Surfer (2007) which sported a very…unique design for Galactus, a big cloud.

Even as a kid, I was disappointed when I watched it in cinema, and saw one of the coolest villains in Marvel get downgraded to a swirly vortex rather than a being larger than the planets he was consuming.

His new-look is superior in every way though; with the pink and purple colour scheme, the helmet, the works ... dare I say it looks fantastic?

Fans agree too, with one user posting a comparison of the two live-action iterations saying, “What an upgrade man.”

“Still don't understand what they were thinking designing Galactus in Fantastic Four 2,” replied a fan in the comments.

Others pointed out that this Galactus could actually be the same one from the Fox film as in the comics, there’s only one version of Galactus in the entire multiverse.

It would just mean in the Silver Surfer film, he just really fancied going to work in a big cloud that day…

Either way, he looks awesome now, and we can’t wait to see just how menacing he’ll be in Fantastic Four: First Steps.
