MCU fans losing their minds over adaptation we've waited years for

Subtle hints have been spotted

Marvel fans are convinced they’ve spotted hints to a huge adaptation on the horizon in the MCU, bringing one of Marvel Comics’ most iconic storylines to the screen.

It all started with Marvel unveiling the Avengers: DOOMSDAY cast last week, setting out a line of chairs with the names of actors on the back.

Marvel knows how to tease its projects to fans.

Millions of fans stopped by the livestream to watch the cast reveal, but many noticed a detail that feels deliberate.

In the promotional material shared on social media, Marvel showed the long line of chairs with Robert Downey Jr. posing at one end.

However, to the left of the image, shadows from the chairs seem to spell out ‘A’ and ‘X’ together, which is leading fans into thinking we might finally see Avengers Vs X-Men.

It was posted on Reddit, with a joking lean, however MCU fans found out the title of Avengers: Endgame similarly.

One fan posted the theory to Reddit, and while some are thinking it’s a simple coincidence, others believe this is the kind of tease Marvel would drop.

“This is a joke, but it's exactly how we discovered Endgame's title,” comments TrpTrp26.

The theory is somewhat heightened by legacy X-Men actors being cast in the film, with an incursion event looking likely.

The Avengers Vs X-Men comic storyline was incredibly popular at the time, as it forced Marvel’s biggest heroes to battle each other.

This could be at least part of the plot in the upcoming film, seeing as Marvel intends to focus on the mutants over the coming years.

It’s not much of a stretch to imagine that the two teams will battle it out, perhaps with the mutant team realising their timeline will be wiped out if they don’t fight for it.

We’re sure to learn more over the coming months as filming starts in London, and trailers and set photos begin to emerge.
