Deadpool & Wolverine, Disney’s latest big MCU blockbuster, was a massive hit with fans, with one of its most lauded elements being the chemistry between it’s two lead actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
But now that Deadpool has been officially inserted into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans have big expectations for his next team-up (now that all of the MCU’s characters could be potential allies).
Thing is, fans can’t seem to agree on exactly which character they want Deadpool to buddy up with next.
In a thread titled “If we get Deadpool 4, do you think it will be another solo movie, or Deadpool & Wolverine 2?” over on the r/marvelstudios subreddit, fans debated who they want to see in the next Deadpool film the most.

Captain America: Brave New World is the MCU's next outing.
“What I really want is an X-Force movie,” commented user Oilswell. “Deadpool, Wolverine, Cable, Domino, Negasonic and some new characters.”
However, my personal favourite belongs to user CMelody.
“I would love to see Deadpool and Spider-Man if they keep their comic dynamic,” they explained. “I don't think Sony would be adverse to splitting a billion dollars, but they are so nitpicky about how Spidey is depicted. I don't think they would consent to Wade's intense crush on him.”
On the flip side, others would prefer it if the next Deadpool movie was a solo adventure.
“I think it'd be for the best if it was a solo movie,” stated user spilledmilkbro, “Especially since Ryan Reynolds has been playing DP for roughly 15 years at this point, and I wouldn't be shocked if he wants to wrap it up. Granted, I'd like that to happen after he interacts with the larger MCU.”
Unfortunately, you’ll all probably have to wait a while to see who Wade will be sharing the spotlight with next, as there’s no fourth Deadpool movie currently in active development.
That doesn’t mean he won’t show up in some of the multiversal shenanigans that Marvel has planned in the meantime, however.
