Marvel merchandise is doing a fine job of ruining MCU twists of late.
Key moments are being spoiled in advance thanks to merchandise giving the game away. It happened with Agatha All Along, and it’s now happened to a new MCU movie.
It could be argued that Marvel never intended to hide this twist in the first place. Given how easily it’s been revealed ahead of the film’s release, we sure hope that’s the case.

The twist in question is a huge spoiler for the Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World.
Fans of the comics will already know Red Hulk’s origins and thus this reveal will come as no surprise.
But for those who only engage with the MCU, this early merch drop is ruining part of the film’s entertainment factor.
It goes without saying that I’m going to explain what the spoiler is, so look away now if you don’t want to know.
The Marvel Legends Red Hulk figure’s box description talks about Red Hulk being a “monster of Samuel Sterns' making”, as shown in an Instagram post about the figure.
So much for surprises, eh?
The full extent of Sterns’ involvement is yet to be determined, and so there’s at least some mystery still surrounding elements of Red Hulk’s story in Brave New World.
The end of Phase 5 and the birth of Phase 6 is well and truly underway.
Not only have we got a first look at the new Iron Man armour, but we’re also learning of two new Phase 6 movies.
Annoying though this major MCU spoiler is, we doubt it’ll stop fans from being hyped about the changes to come.
Besides, there’s still more to the story we've yet to learn about.
That being said, with Marvel ruining yet another big reveal for itself, we can’t help but wonder if spoilers are inevitable now...?
