Until Avengers: Endgame, I always felt that the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s downfall was that it strayed away from death far too often.

Yes, this is family entertainment but for these films to work, there has to be a sense of peril.

For many years, all of the MCU’s greatest heroes were protected by plot armour all so that they could extend the franchise’s longevity.

Of course, there was the odd death from time to time, but it felt like the balance really shifted when The Infinity Saga drew to a close.

In more recent years, we’ve seen quite a few deaths in the MCU and while they’re not always easy to take, they raise the stakes and make for more thrilling viewing.

The question is, which death hit you in the feels the most?

Well, that’s a topic that fans have been hotly debating over on social media.

Agatha All Along’s first two episodes are not now. Yet to watch them? Check out the show’s trailer below.

It’s not often that a fanbase agrees on something and yet, that’s exactly what’s happened here.

Over on Reddit, Marvel fans have declared Vision’s death in Avengers: Infinity War to be the most heartbreaking.

Combining that with the events of WandaVision only makes it even more devastating.

How can any of us forget, “What is grief if not love persevering?”

‘His murder in IW wrecked me. Watching Wanda have to kill him was sad, but to follow that up so quickly with him being brought back to be murdered was a gut punch,” wrote Reddit user ThePhantomEvita.

“All Vision deaths,” agreed AVtechN1CK, as did avatar_of_chaos, praising “the actors who reacted to their death”.

Even if Vision won the vote, his death was hardly the only one mentioned.

Yondu appears to have acquired the second highest number of votes, while Tony Stark and Groot both garnered honourable mentions.

I’d have to agree. It’s Vision for me.
