There is one villain in the MCU that was sorely underused and underrated. He seemed to come and go in a flash despite being a huge nuisance in the source material.

I’m talking about Ultron. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the metal menace will be making a return in the Vision TV show, voiced again by James Spader.

The next big Marvel project is Captain America: Brave New World out next year

Ultron was poorly handled in the second Avengers film. He ends up being cast aside despite the cataclysmic actions of his ideals and his appearance is ultimately forgettable, overshadowed by what comes next.

This is Marvel’s chance to let him shine, and fans are very happy about it.

After the news broke on Twitter, many voiced their thoughts and feelings on the villain's return.

One reply got right to the point saying, “This show just instantly got my attention! LETS GO. Time to do Ultron justice.”

The hype is real and one Marvel fan thinks it’s the biggest news of recent weeks, “This might be more exciting than an RDJ Doom announcement!”

Many fans of the comic books are hoping the show angles itself to take on the Tom King run of Vision that is highly acclaimed and saw the hero take on a more human feel.

How this brings in Ultron is being widely debated as the two are so obviously intertwined. Will Ultron be the bad guy of the show, or simply a cameo?

Among the many replies on Twitter, there are plenty saying this is a “big win” for Marvel or that it now has them interested in the show.

Another fan has a theory that might play out to be true, seeing as Marvel likes to tie things together, “I have a feeling that Armor Wars and Vision Quest are merging into one.”

There is no release date for the show as yet but it will likely hit Disney+ some time soon.
