Marvel shares first official look at Daredevil: Born Again in new trailer

The new Daredevil looks fantastic

Daredevil: Born Again looks like a fresh start for Marvel, and will probably be better than 90% of what Phase 4 has given us so far.

Marvel is currently celebrating its 85th anniversary, yes that’s right 85 years of our favourite superheroes like Spider-Man, Captain America, and my personal favourite Daredevil.

Big things are happening in the MCU, like the emergence of Red Hulk in Captain America: Brave New World

As such Marvel treated its fans to a short and sweet video showing what’s coming next for the billion dollar film franchise, including glimpses of Captain America: Brave New World, The Thunderbolts, and Daredevil: Born Again.

This was the first official image of the man without fear in his new TV series that wasn’t a behind-the-scenes shot or 480p video of a trailer filmed on someone’s Android, and we couldn’t be more hyped.

Only for a split second do we see Matt Murdock wearing his new Daredevil cowl, sporting much brighter red than we’ve seen in previous live-action versions of the character.

He looks out of breath, beaten, and desperately in need of a nap, which is just quintessential Daredevil at this point so you love to see it.

Daredevil: Born Again will be a continuation of the Netflix TV series, bringing back the main cast as well as Jon Bernthal’s character, The Punisher.

The antagonists will be Wilson Fisk AKA The Kingpin, as well as a new face called Muse, who’s made very brief comic appearances but left an impression with his grizzly form of “art.”

The show is expected to release on Disney+ sometime in 2025, though an exact release date is unknown.

High hopes are riding on this series, but if it’s as good as the leaked trailer made it look, I think we’re all in for a good time, hopefully Spider-Man cameos at some point too to set-up a potential team-up.
