Marvel fans furious over brutal MCU death we didn't see coming

Marvel has shocked and confused fans by killing off a character in a brutal way during its latest Disney+ series.

Note that this will feature spoilers for the latest episode of Agatha All Along that was released yesterday, so if you’re not caught up yet be warned.

Agatha All Along has beena supernatural rollercoaster for the MCU, continuing a few plot points from WandaVision and even name-dropping one of Marvel's biggest bads, implying they’ll be making their debut sometime in the future.

It continues to shock audiences, like how two of the upcoming episodes needed an intimacy coordinator for some reason, as if it’s about to drop one of the MCU’s steamiest sex-scenes so far.

However, today we’re talking about yesterday’s episode, which finally revealed the true identity of one of its characters, though a new Funko Pop collection already spoiled it for many, and it also killed off one of the series’ characters.

Yesterday saw the demise of Alice, one episode after she broke a major generational curse which seems like odd timing.

In an attempt to save her, Alice gets her powers absorbed by Agatha which ends up killing her, though it’s unknown if Agatha did it on purpose or wasn’t in control of the situation.

Fans of Reddit are pretty ticked off by the whole thing though, with many believing the episode went by too fast and didn’t leave room for the audience to comprehend what was happening.

One fan said it’s obvious the episode was meant to be a “bridge” episode, simply meant for revealing new information about a big character, and throw in some shock value with a character death.

“IT WAS TOO SHORT I NEEDED MORE BUT I'M AT LEAST GLAD THEY DIDN'T HOLD BACK ANY REVEALS” one fan exclaimed.

Shocking as it may be, it probably was intended to be an episode that covers a lot of ground as we move closer to the finale, so hopefully it’s all leading to something big.
