The Marvel Cinematic Universe is on the up and up again, and Deadpool & Wolverine played a huge part in bringing forth that rise.

The Multiverse Saga has been, let’s say, tumultuous compared to its predecessor, The Infinity Saga.

It was always going to be hard following such a monumental cinematic event, by which I mean Avengers: Endgame.

The Multiverse Saga immediately set to work introducing us to some wonderful new characters, but so too did the era take a few missteps.

In adding TV projects to the MCU’s roster, Marvel initially struggled to find an output balance.

Then, there’s the fact that Kang - and his many variants - were pretty uninteresting big bads compared to Thanos, and that’s without even adding the allegations against actor Jonathan Majors into the mix.

The era has, so far, also been without a crossover - with the saga therefore missing that crucial ‘event’ that draws interest.

Thankfully, fortunes started to change earlier this year.

ICYMI: The new trailer for Thunderbolts* has landed. Take a look below.

Marvel is now spreading its releases further apart, allowing for breathing room, and Kang is being banished and replaced with Doctor Doom - who’ll interestingly be portrayed by Robert Downey Jr.

A much needed sense of fun has been restored too, and that’s largely thanks to Deadpool & Wolverine.

The merc with a mouth’s induction into the MCU was a colossal success with the film breaking an array of box office records.

And now, the character is back as a brand new deleted scene has been released to celebrate the film’s upcoming digital and physical release.

Titled ‘Elevator Ride’, it features Wade taking an elevator with Matthew Macfadyen’s Mr. Paradox at the TVA.

Essentially, Mr. Paradox fills Wade in on the concept of the sacred timeline. You can take a look at the scene below.
