Disney is set on riding that Deadpool & Wolverine hype train all the way to the bank this Christmas, as both of its titular stars are back for a follow-up to the 2018 MCU film Once Upon a Deadpool.

Thank you in advance to Cameron Bonomolo over on Comicbook.com, who was lucky enough to watch Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special and has detailed their experiences in their piece.

According to Bonomolo’s write-up, the live show is going to run from November 15 this year until January 6, 2026 at the Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Park.

Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special is, much like Once Upon a Deadpool, a family-friendly take on the R-rated films, but thankfully it does a good job of retaining Deadpool’s personality and fourth-wall-breaking quips regardless.

In the official description for the show from Disney, they promise that “Deadpool is filled with holiday cheer and is here to share some new, super-special, seasonal stories... These tales will delight, charm and celebrate the holidays in the way only Deadpool can”.

Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special isn’t the only big Marvel Cinematic Universe offering you can catch at the Avengers Campus at the moment though, as another live show has also been making the waves online.

As we’ve previously mentioned, you can also watch Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics - a quasi-follow-up to the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness that sees the titular hero teaming up with both Agatha Harkness and Scarlet Witch to defeat a new mystical threat.

It really does seem that Disney and Marvel are gearing up to make Avengers Campus one of the main draws of their Disneyland Resorts, given how many of these live shows are in the works.

Expect to see some more of these announced shortly, as both Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts* are mere months away from release.
