Doctor Strange is back and this time he will be joined by one Marvel character that has made quite the splash this year.

It has been two years since the latest Doctor Strange movie, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, was released and with a third instalment on the way, fans are eager to see more of the great sorcerer.

Check out the trailer for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness below!

However, with Doctor Strange 3 still in the early stages of development and not expected until at least 2026, it will be a while until we see Benedict Cumberbatch reprise the iconic role.

Luckily, all is not lost as Marvel has recently announced Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics which is set to debut on 23 November.

Arriving at Disneyland Paris, Doctor Strange: Mystery of the Mystics is a new stage show that follows the trio of Doctor Strange, Agatha Harkness and Scarlet Witch as they team up to stop a strange occult power.

The trailer for the magnificent-looking show debuted on Twitter this weekend and shows the actors who will be taking on these iconic roles as well as its electrifying setting. Quite literally.

The show will debut at the Avengers Campus and will run from 23 November to 29 March, 2025.

Following the news, Marvel fans took to social media to share their thoughts.

With some excited about the stage show, others are understandably disappointed that this trio will not be coming to the big screen anytime soon.

“Ok, now I need this but in a movie and I'll be the happiest person on the planet,” one person replied.

Another said: “They always have better ideas than the studios.”

Mystery of the Mystics will be the first time that we see Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch team up since Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in which the latter seemingly met her demise.

Luckily this stage show will have a much happier ending.
