Avengers: Doomsday tease reveals an unexpected MCU and X-Men pairing

We’re all getting geared up for the next big Marvel crossover film, Avengers: DOOMSDAY, with an epic clash or team-up between the classic X-Men and the new MCU heroes on the way.

Of course, we’re not the only ones getting ready, as the stars of the films have been hanging out together off set, bringing the past actors into the MCU.

We’ve seen them all hanging out while watching the latest films, and now we’re getting photos of the stars working out together and getting in shape for their moment in front of the camera.

The latest of these pictures shows James Marsden and Simu Liu in the gym together, possibly preparing for some joint action sequences, as they’re not shown with gym equipment, more in casual workout clothes.

I’m going to have a bit of fun and speculate that Cyclops will meet Shang-Chi at some point in the film, whether that’s across the battlefield, or as comrades for a short time.

I just hope, with everything I’ve got, that we get to see the X-Men in their classic blue and yellow costumes in this film, even if it’s a throwaway moment.

While we don’t know anything concrete about the film’s plot, we do know that most of the 20th Century Fox X-Men are coming back to reprise their roles, so we’re sure to see the MCU heroes face off against them, or with them.

Avengers Vs X-Men is a highly regarded comic book, and fans have wanted to see it on the screen for years, so this could be our moment.

Just what will the Marvel heroes think of the mutants when they arrive, assuming it’s Doctor Doom that causes the incursion and battle for survival on Earth-616.

I hope, even if they start as foes, that we get an epic moment of X-Men aligned with the Avengers, before that era of films gets the big send-off.
