House of the Dragon is finally set to return very soon, with the long awaited third season debuting on an unspecified date this June.
It’s set to be the penultimate season of the hit Game of Thrones spin-off with HBO having already confirmed that House of the Dragon’s fourth season will serve as its last.
With the third outing set to consist of eight episodes, fans of the series should look forward to plenty more drama and bloodshed.
In fact, it’s believed that the series will kick off with the Battle of the Gullet taking into account where Season Two left off.

Many considered the second season’s finale to be a tad underwhelming as it set up the various powers preparing for battle rather than showing any conflict itself.
Rhaenyra recruited several new dragonriders with rival and once-friend Alicent vowing to open the gates of King’s Landing in exchange for the protection of her children.
However, Rhaenyra made it clear that Aegon could not survive.
Ahead of the return of House of the Dragon, GAMINGbible had the opportunity to catch up with Abubakar Salim at this year’s BAFTA Games Awards, the actor behind Alyn of Hull.
Alyn was last seen boarding Corlys’ ship which had set off to join the Velaryon blockade.
On the return of the series, Abubakar told us, “Episode One is going to be nuts. It's going to be really intense. It's going to be crazy and dramatic.”

“I don't think people are ready. I really don't think people are ready. It's going to be something.”
That tease has certainly left us all hyped, especially combined with what Abubakar told us last year at the very same event.
“I’m going to be pulling out my Kratos,” the actor told us in 2025, referencing God of War’s famed protagonist.
“That’s all I’m going to say. Crazy. It’s going to be crazy. I’m just ready to dive in. It should be good.”
Abubakar isn’t just a brilliant actor, he’s the founder of one of the most exciting and promising new studios out there.
In just a couple of years, Surgent has launched the BAFTA-winning Tales of Kenzera: Zau, the BAFTA-nominated Dead Take, and new release FixForce.
Our question for Abubakar, “Do you ever sleep?”
“Absolutely not. No, I don't sleep at all,” he joked. “I think I'm in a place where I just operate on adrenaline now, but I'm enjoying it. I'm loving it. I'm loving the journey with it.”
Dead Take’s Jane Perry was nominated at the recent BAFTA Games Awards for her role in the unconventional horror.
Abubakar recounted that watching Jane on set was a standout memory for him during development.
“Oh, it was definitely watching Jane do her thing,” he said. “We'd written her this huge monologue and we were thinking, ‘Oh, we're going to do it in several takes.’ And she just did it in one and we just kept it in the game. It was insane and sensational.”
