Months ago, die-hard Harry Potter fans actually managed to correctly predict the new actor picking up the wand of Lord Voldemort.
While the casting news for the HBO adaptation of Harry Potter is taking off, Audible, the audiobook specialists, are putting together a new cast for a dramatic reading of the original books.
The full cast for the project has been announced, and the actor taking on the role of Voldemort was picked by a super fan months ago, albeit for the HBO show.
MCU star, Matthew Macfadyen, is set to become the antagonist in the audio version, alongside the likes of Arabella Stanton, and Hugh Laurie.

Props to HistoryFictionDetect, over on Reddit, who picked Macfadyen over half a year ago, in the hopes the actor would take to the screen.
Of course, we still don’t know who will be cast to play Voldemort for HBO, and it might be some time until the role needs to be filled.
With each season of the show representing one of the books, it’s likely the first few seasons will rely on CGI, with casting down the line, after Voldemort takes human form.
Macfadyen could end up being the best fit for the role, and perhaps makes the leap from audio to screen, if he knocks it out of the park.

The seasoned actor has previously starred in Pride and Prejudice, along with appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine for Marvel.
Previous Harry Potter audiobooks were narrated by Stephen Fry, who recently called out the actions and attitudes of author J. K. Rowling.
This new Audible project will see actors playing each part much like a radio play, with full dramatic readings, likely to excite long-time fans eager for anything fresh in the franchise.
Next up will be the HBO adaptation, which is still some way off, in 2027.
