Harry Potter gets a brand new series that takes us back to where it all started, and the casting is perfect.
When it comes to popular franchises that transcend just about all forms of entertainment media, it doesn't get much bigger than Harry Potter’s Wizarding World.
Whether it’s the J.K. Rowling novels, the big-budget movies from Warner Bros. Pictures or the 2023 video game, Hogwarts Legacy, there’s always plenty of Harry Potter goodness to go around. We’ve even got a live-action HBO reboot on the way, too.
One other form of Harry Potter entertainment that may go overlooked is audiobooks. As someone who has major ADD tendencies, my mind wanders too easily if I’m reading a book.

This is exactly why I love listening to audiobooks. Whether it’s a novel or a biography, hearing a passionate narrator instantly immerses me as I imagine the world they are describing. One such audiobook series that I recently began listening to is the Harry Potter novels, narrated by Stephen Fry.
However, if you’re after something a little different from the Harry Potter audiobooks, then look no further than Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Full-Cast Audio Edition), which is an Audible exclusive, available today.
Unlike the fantastically narrated Stephen Fry offerings, as the name of the audible states, each character is voiced by different actors. In fact, over 200 actors play roles in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Full-Cast Audio Edition).
For example, youngsters Frankie Treadaway plays Harry Potter, Max Lester as Ron Weasley and Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger. All of which you can hear in a snippet below from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Full-Cast Audio Edition). Audible also offers previews, so you can get an added sample of the novel if you wish.
As for the other leading roles, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Full-Cast Audio Edition) features quite the star-studded cast, including: Hugh Laurie (Albus Dumbledore), Kit Harington (Professor Lockhart) and Keira Knightley (Professor Umbridge), to name a few.
