It seems that the DCU may have teased Batman and Robin, and we all probably missed it.

It’s an exciting time for DC Comics fans with the previous DCEU (DC Extended Universe) now in the rear-view mirror as we look forward to James Gunn and Peter Safran’s new DCU, which will kickstart with Superman starring David Corenswet as the new Clark Kent.

Check out the Superman trailer below!

“Superman follows the titular superhero as he reconciles his heritage with his human upbringing,” reads the description on IMDB. “He is the embodiment of truth, justice and the American way in a world that views this as old-fashioned.”

Following the new Superman movie, we have the likes of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, Lantern, Swamp Thing and more to look forward to in the DCU.

However, perhaps the most highly anticipated movie is Batman: Brave and the Bold which will see the Caped Crusader joining forces with Damian Wayne aka Robin, the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul.

At the time of writing, we don’t know who’ll be cast as Batman and Robin but a recent DC animation may have teased what their outfits might look like. Before we proceed, the images shown below will have spoilers for the new animated series, Creature Commandos.

“Creature Commandos episode four ‘Chasing Squirrels’ gives us our first look at Wonder Woman and Batman,” teased ABH1979, showing a couple of interesting screenshots.

While not the clearest images, they do show the battle skirt for Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman. What’s more, ABH1979 believes that Batman’s cape and cowl could be the traditional blue.

If you squint your eyes ever so tightly, you may also be able to see Robin at the back of an image, as pointed out by SimpleSink6563.

Of course, these images could have no relation to the upcoming Batman: Brave and the Bold movie but at this stage, we’ll take whatever speculation we can get until we have official confirmation by DC and Warner Bros.

At this time, Batman: Brave and the Bold does not have a release date but Superman will swoop into cinemas with his dog Krypto on 11 July 2025.
