It’s finally here.

We’ve been waiting to get our first look at the Superman trailer, and now it’s here in all its glory.

Scheduled to release in 2025, DC fans have been wondering when they'd be able to see a few scenes from the highly-anticipated movie.

After all, it's a reboot, so a lot is riding on this panning out for both DC and Warner Bros. moving forward.

The trailer has only just dropped and already fans are hyped.

"Wow, Superman is back!" exclaimed @Stephen__NHS in response to DC's social media post.

Another comment reads, "I'm ready to look up."

So are we.

The feedback elsewhere, such as on YouTube, is also extremely positive, with fans joking that "every cell" in their bodies are primed and ready to watch this new take on the beloved superhero.

Understandably then, there's some anxiety floating around regarding the Superman trailer.

YouTube user @SeanChandlerTalksAbout said, "I don't think I've ever been both this nervous and excited for a trailer."

Superman is a symbol of hope both to the fandom and in the characters in the stories we've read/watched growing up.

From what we've just watched, it seems like James Gunn has done the character justice.

However, 11 July 2025 will be when we can finally say that with absolute certainty.

We suspect that many of you will watch this "breathtaking" trailer again and again before that date arrives, and we can't fault you for that.

Whether you're only here admiring the beauty of the leading man, or you're a long time fan desperate to see Superman shine once again, we won't judge.

Like you, we're going to discuss what we just witnessed with everyone we know, our excitement bubbling over.

DC is back in action, baby, and it looks incredible.

In the words of the fans, "An entire generation is about to remember what hope is."

Amen.
